Keeping this in mind, the Kindergarten students of IES Orion from Nursery, Jr. KG, and Sr. KG enthusiastically participated in the Water Play Activity held from Monday, 9th February 2026 to Friday, 13th February 2026.
The activity was organized class-wise, with Jr. KG and Sr. KG Golden Sun students enjoying water play on Monday, 9th February 2026, followed by Silver Moon students on Tuesday, 10th February 2026. TOY DAY
06/02/2026
Toys hold a special place in a child’s world, serving as companions that offer comfort, security, and a medium to express emotions. Through play, children naturally develop essential skills such as fine and gross motor abilities, language proficiency, and social interaction. Embracing this idea, the Kindergarten students of IES Orion joyfully celebrated Favourite Toy Day in school on Friday, 6th February 2026. The little ones brought along their cherished toys and immersed themselves in delightful playtime, transforming their classrooms into a lively Toyland.
This activity-based celebration provided a wonderful platform for the tiny tots to enhance their speaking skills as they confidently spoke about their favourite toys. The event encouraged children to overcome their inhibitions and express themselves freely, while also instilling the important value of “Sharing is Caring.” Toys play a vital role in nurturing cognitive development during early childhood by improving concentration, attention span, and memory. Holistic development helps children approach language and mathematical concepts in an enjoyable and engaging manner.
