THANKS GIVING WEEK
17/01/2022 - 21/01/2022
“A moment of gratitude makes a difference in our attitude”. Our communities are made up of special people who go an extra mile to make things happen for us. Community helpers play an important role in our lives. Remember, they volunteer their time away from their friends and family to make our community a better place. Saying ‘Thank You’ to these community helpers doesn’t have to cost very much or anything at all. It is so important to thank volunteers. They put in a lot of time and energy and definitely deserve a thank you. “Thanks Giving Week” was celebrated in IES Orion Kindergarten from Monday, 17th January, 2022 to Friday, 21st January, 2022 to inculcate the value of ‘Dignity of Labour’. Students learnt about ‘Community Helpers’ and the work they do for the society. They were also taught that all types of jobs should be respected equally. On Friday, 21st January, 2022 during the online class, students came dressed as ‘Community Helpers’ and shared various information with different material to facilitate learning.
