Students were given information about World Emoji Day by their teachers through a PowerPoint Presentation. Sr.KG teachers drew few emoticons on the board and asked the students to draw the emotion that they were feeling that day.
Emoji’s taught students that happiness can be found in little things. They’re like magical symbols that everyone understands. This celebration showed them that even simple things, like paper emoji’s, can make them really happy. Corridors were decorated with eye-catching emoji’s. Smiley faces, hearts, thumbs up you name it and we had it.
At the end of our World Emoji Day celebration, one thing was clear emoji’s are more than just symbols on a screen. They’re expressions of emotions, creativity, and unity. Our day was proof of how emoji’s can bring us together, spark our imaginations and turn even the simplest of moments into colourful memories. Through crafts, games, stories and discussions, students celebrated the universal language of emoji’s, reminding them that no matter where they come from, they can all understand a smiley face or a heart emoji.
